Academics

Academics is essential in order to strive and graduate college. By obtaining a diploma from a 4-year University, Latino students set the example for other Latinos to go to college, so that they may also have the opportunity of a brighter future. At Hermanos Unidos de Cal Poly Pomona, we encourage and help our members with their study skills and improving their GPA. The Academic Chairs of the Executive Board reserve a study room every day in the University Library, so that members may study at any time. The Academic Chairs also conduct grade checks at the end of each quarter to make sure no Hermano falls behind. Together the familia helps one another to contribute to each others success in academics.
The Academic Chairs require each Hermano to do 20 study hours for old members, and 10 study hours for new members.
