Summer Highlights
Banquet
Brown-bagging Community Service/Social
To end off the academic year, Hermanos Unidos de CPP held
its annual banquet at the Pomona Mining Co. We shared many laughs and smiles as
we watched highlights of the year, our graduating seniors, and the election of
our executive board of 2015-16.

At the start of the summer, we had the privilege of
participating in our brown bagging community service with Hermanas de UC
Berkeley and CPP. Afterwards we ended the day off with a social to bond and
have a nice time with the hermanas.

Statewide Beach Social
This year’s annual statewide beach social in Long Beach
had a great turnout with many different familias across the state coming out to
bond and share in the hermandad. The day consisted of icebreakers, platicas,
games, and eating.

History was made this summer as we held our first ever
book fair for Lincoln elementary here in Pomona. Thanks to Cristian Gonzalez
and Jesus Martinez, our two community service chairs, the event was a success
and many children left with smiles and new books that they received, all
donated by our members.

Broncofusion Club Fair
To end off the summer of 2015 and kickoff the fall
quarter, our bros gathered together before Broncofusion to table during the
club fair and promote our beautiful organization. Several freshmen with an
interest in the org came out as we explained what we are all about, from our
three pillar ideology, to the bonding that can be created.
